Breaking: Shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas

On Friday, a tragic shooting occurred at Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe, Texas. According to Fox news, at around 8 am CDT the shooter(s) pulled the school fire alarm, and began to open fire onto the crowd of students.

As of right now, the report is that 8-10 students have been killed and about 12 others injured. There is currently 1 suspect in custody and 1 other is being detained for questioning. According to CNN, there were several explosive devices found on and off campus, and authorities are currently looking into that. No further details about the actual shooter(s) have been released at the moment.

My prayers go out to the victims and their families affected by today’s shooting, such sad and senseless act of violence. Already, I’m seeing several people, both right and left, politicizing this shooting, so please, please wait until all the facts come out and give some time for parents to grieve.


– It has been confirmed that 10 people were killed with a dozen or so injured

– The shooter is a 17 year old white male

– He used a sawed-off shotgun and a .38 caliber revolver in the shooting, as well as pipe bombs
